You can purchase anti-glare screen protectors that will help eliminate some glare. If you are planning on using the tablet mainly for reading outside, the Kindle would be the best option. You'll have to connect it to a WiFi network, though it does support 5GHz WiFi networks. Once you've got things set up and downloaded, you can also use the built-in Micro SD Card slot to expand your storage and take your favorite movies and shows with you on the go, so that you don't need to connect to the internet while you're out and about. While the Amazon Appstore may not carry every app found on Google Play by default, many productivity apps including Zoom are available for download directly from the Amazon Appstore. To locate Zoom, open the Appstore on your tablet, search for "Zoom Workplace," and it should appear for download. If you do not see it, ensure your tablet's software is fully updated by going to Settings > Device Options > System Updates, as app availability can depend on running the latest Fire OS version. For the slow startup on first use, this is actually expected behavior during the initial boot.     Not user friendly

    I always forget how frustratingly un-user friendly a fire is. It take multiple steps to do even the most basic of tasks and you can’t download apps that are available to ever other tablet. And the to figure out how to do something isn’t simple, you have to google it and then it requires you to do another step, then you have to google how to do that. Save yourself the frustration and get a Samsung.

    Great product but came to me used when I paid for a new one

    I’m sure the product is great but I am not happy with Target sending me an item that has already been opened and turned on! I expected a NEW item not used!

    Hello Jerry! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing the apps you need on your Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet. To resolve this issue, start by syncing your device—swipe down from the top of the screen, tap Sync or go to Settings, then Device Options, and select Sync Device. Ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi connection and check the Download Manager for any paused or failed downloads by swiping down from the top. You can also clear the Content Management Service data by going to Settings, Apps & Notifications, Manage All Applications, selecting Content Management Service, then tapping Clear Data and Clear Cache before syncing again. Restart your tablet by holding the power button for 40 seconds, releasing it, and powering back on. It's important to note that Fire tablets only support the Amazon Appstore, not Google Play Store, so if your apps aren't available in the Amazon Appstore, they cannot be installed through standard methods.     Box damaged

    The cardboard shipping box was fine. The Fire iPad box is damaged in two places. This means the ipad box was damaged before they sent it and they chose to send it anyway. Hope it works on Christmas morning.
