Description

Enjoy a comfortable home climate with this versatile Black and Decker 14,000 BTU (10,000 BTU SACC) with 11,000 BTU heating portable air conditioner unit. Cools the air down to 61 degrees Fahrenheit, dehumidifies up to 90 pints every 24 hours, and circulates air with 3 fan settings to stand up to summer heat in rooms up to 700 sq. ft. This Portable Air Conditioner with heat features easy-to-use LED electronic controls and is quiet while you sleep, 53dB on highest setting. Window kit includes foam seal, slider bracket, 5.9 inch diameter air exhaust hose, hose inlet and outlet, 2 locking screws and drain hose. Works in double hung or sliding windows only, no crank windows. To minimize noise and vibration, the air conditioner should be placed on a firm floor. For safe and secure positioning, place the unit on a smooth, level floor strong enough to support the unit. Connect the duct and make sure it can function properly. Microprocessor control delays the compressor from operating until 3 mins have passed. Thermostat range is from 61 degrees to 88 degrees Fahrenheit. Includes easy to use LCD remote control (2 AAA batteries required for remote - not included). 115V~/60Hz. 1340 Watts. Annual energy usage 900 Kwh. Air conditioner is great but heating not so much!

The air conditioner worked great on the unit. Covers a 600sq ft room perfectly. The heating worked good at first but on really cold nights it kept blowing cold air out, even though it was on the heat setting. Took a really long time for the room to get warm.

Great unit lacking a couple of features

We purchased this unit a little less than a month ago and it’s performed well both in the air conditioning mode and most recently in the heat mode. However, it does lack the feature of being able to be connected and controlled via an app. It also needs better directions on setting up the delay time to turn on. Once we figured out that feature, it’s been great.

Cools or heats room in minutes.

I absolutely love and recommend this product. It works better than expected. Easy to set up, easy to use. Needed this for an upstairs living space of 900 square feet.
