Q: does the liquid work as well as the thicker tub version, at removing water proof mascara?

  • A: Easily takes off eye&lip cosmetics. I use reg+waterproof mascara & this takes it off so easily. No hard rubbing req'd. No eye irritation. Removes even 16hr lip stain easily. Beats baby oil hands-down.

    I would not buy this product again

    Very oily, hard to wash off and get's in your eyes! This is not the product formula that you used to carry! You had an eye make-up product by Clinique that was in a Blue Bottle. The assistants didn't believe me, said it was the only kind they always carried and that's just not true! I dumped it in the garbage. thank goodness I bought a sample size and not a big one!

    fully recommend

    I got this product when I first got inot wearing eyeliner. I needed something that I could use to take off makeup quickly but it not smell or upset my skin. I have very sensitive skin so I'm very happy to use this product and definitely recommend.

    Happy with purchase

    This was recommended to me by an Ulta employee. I usually use Lancôme eye makeup remover. I actually like this better. It removes waterproof mascara easily. This is my new go-to!

    Worst designed bottle cap to ever exist

    Literally the worst bottle design I've EVER seen. What kind of stupid cap breaks if it gets turned the wrong way? So stupid. I'm gonna go throw this crap in a garbage disposal. Don't waste your money.

    Bye Bye Eye Makeup & No More Burning Eyes

    This is so great for removing eye makeup! It only takes a small amount and more importantly it doesn't burn my eyes. I haven't tested it on removing waterproof eye makeup products but it did remove my Benefit They're Real mascara effortlessly. This mascara was always the toughest to remove with other cleansers but Take the Day Off gets the job done with ease.

    SO GENTLE YET EFFECTIVE

    Clinique's 'take the day off' makeup remover for eye makeup and lips is my absolute favorite! I've tried tons of other brands over the years that were either irritating, made my eyes sting or I would have to rub/wipe over and over to actually remove my eye makeup (especially if I used any sort of long-lasting lipstick or waterproof eye makeup). It works so well, doesn't dry out your lips or leave the delicate skin around eyes dry or inflamed. I've been using Clinique products since high school (20 yrs ago!) and their makeup removers are just wonderful :)

    Easily remove waterproof mascara

    I have been wearing Clinique waterproof mascara for 30+ years, and this makeup remover for lids/lashes and lips works so well and feels healthy and nourishing. I also wear long lasting lipstick and it comes right off too, and leaves my lips moisturized.

    Excellent eye make-up remover

    I have been using Clinique products since the late 1970's and using the eye make-up remover for many years. I like Clinique so much that I gave my16-year old granddaughter a Clinique makeup gift for Christmas. She loved all the products, especially the eye makeup remover and has been using it ever since. She is now 34 and still requests it as a gift. .

    Non stinging!

    This remover does not sting on sensitive skin and washes off easily. Some makeup remover products cause breakouts, but not this one!

    I love this product.

    I think it needs a better lid, perhaps a spill proof lid, like a shaker too? if it tips over, all of it would spill out, and this product is so pricey.

    I would buy this again.

    I have used this makeup remover for a while now and I'll continue to buy it. Online I saw that I should be leaving the cotton pad on my eyes for a few seconds before wiping off, and that has made a big difference. No more tugging to get the makeup off.
