  • A: Hi Joanna, I had to ask the product development team this, but I got the answer for you. The JBuddies ANC have a noise reduction of 23db, which is substantial for the size and price! There are very few kids headphones with excellent ANC.

I'd highly recommend looking at our other headphones built for adult sized heads. These headphones are mainly built for kids head sizes, but if they'll fit you, they would be able to be used for weight lifting or something alongside that, but not for anything too vigourous. That would be my recommendation. I wouldn't use them for running. I hope that helps!

When using JLab JBuddies Bluetooth Wireless ANC Kids' Headphones with a wire, you don't necessarily need them to be charged to hear audio. -The headphones will still function as regular wired headphones even if the battery is dead, allowing your child to continue listening to audio through the connected device. -However, the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature requires power and will not function if the headphones are not charged or if they are used in wired mode with a dead battery. ANC uses dedicated electronics that need a power source (the battery) to operate. J Buddies ANC

These are so cute and comfy! The sound quality is excellent and the noise canceling actually works. They are also adjustable so they can fit older teens and young adults. Overall a really great product!

Gift from ending QR Code

Each jlab purchase i make, the product gets better. Jlab has jbuddies, which are for children of you didn't know. There's so many to choose from with cute colors! My daughter is getting her first ever pair of headphones, ofcourse they had to be jlab/jbuddies. My favorite feature is that her brother can connect his headphones to hers, no fighting over a device!

Too Quiet

I know that kids should have a safe volume setting but some videos or even music require higher volume due to how it was recorded. It should have a safety setting but should be able to push it up further with a click marking the area they should not pass

Headphones were great until they weren't

These headphones were exactly what we were looking for my 9yr old daughter to use. They had good sound quality and my daughter thought they were comfortable. My daughter is very careful with her headphones and had been using them everyday until a couple nights ago when the power button stopped pushing in, preventing the headphones from turning on.

Wired vs wireless

As wireless headphones, the quality is fine and you get what you pay for. It's good for the price that I paid.. but the wire is always crackling and causing bad sound whenever I try and plug it in

Didn't even last three months

We bought these in August. It's now early November and they aren't working. Of course we missed our return window. Sometimes we cannot hear anything at all. Other times one side works. The volume control does not work at all. We will never buy anything this brand makes again.

I bought two sets at diff times and both don't work. Bad cord. Volume doesn,t adjust anymore. Some doesn't work at all. Functionally they suck. The noise cancelling and comfort are good.

Do not buy ... they won't last a year.

Very soft ear covers and good sound quality, not too loud.

I'm a little cautious with these as this is our second pair. I bought the first one for my child for school. After not even a month at school, they stopped working. Not a battery issue at all. They just will not charge or work. Nothing seems to be blocking the charge spot or looks broken. I did try these again this time, as they were on clearence and so far so good. I know kids can break things but I also bought for my youngest, 4, since they were on clearence. They have nice sound and the ear puffs are VERY comfortable. Small enough for my youngest and large enough for my 9 year old too. They connect super easy. The sound does not get too loud, which is nice because I dont have to worry about my son blowing out his eardrums. Only reason for 3/5 is I'm waiting to see if our first pair was just a lemon.

Cute, comfy but they didn't last 2 weeks

I purchased these for my child's classroom and they only lasted two weeks. The head phone plug broke off completely. These are corded/cordless headphones but the plug is now stuck in the jack. Very disappointing since the colors are great and earphones are cushiony and comfy for small kids.
