Q: Why is this advertised as 4 net carbs when it’s actually 15 per serving?

submitted by Tracey - 2 years ago
  • A: 1g of fiber & 10g of allulose

submitted byMeatandcarbs - 2 years ago

Q: Someone explain how they get to 4 net carbs??

submitted by jeniw - 1 year ago
  • A: It seems that allulose is not a sugar alcohol, but is a “rare sugar”. Allulose, monk fruit, and stevia do not act like regular sugars in the body, so they are not required to be on a nutrition label and are subtracted from total carbs to get net carbs.

submitted byAnnaRose - 9 months ago
  • A: When you are calculating carbs in foods that contain sugar alcohols (allulose), you subtract their amount along with the fiber to get the net carbs. In this case, the allulose is 10g and the fiber is 1g. So 10g plus 1g from 15g carbs is 4g net carbs. Most nutrition labels show the sugar alcohols (there are many different ones). Here they are showing them in a separate area. It is very confusing.

Q: In the ingredients section (adds a trivial amount of sugar) is listed several times so how can this be lableled as no sugar?

submitted by Consumer - 2 years ago
  • A: The same reason that products are allowed to be sold in the US as trans-fat free yet still contain partially hydrogenated oils.

submitted byLocutusOfBorg - 1 year ago
  • A: Because people get away with misleading information

submitted byCt - 2 years ago

Q: how many servings per box? what size is a serving?

submitted by msozarks - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Each box contains about 5 servings. A single serving is about 1 cup (37g).

My obsession

This cereal is an expensive obsession. Cocoa is my #1. Chocolate Ripple milk, and skinny Mix marshmallow sauce drizzled on it. Yummy!

so good

I have to stop from eating a whole box at once. if you can follow the cup/serving, you get like 5 bowls a week. But if you don't, you can do this box in about 2.5 days. I think these are the best flavor.

Delicious Breakfast or Snack

I absolutely love this Cereal for Breakfast or a Sweet Snack. Perfect add to a snack bowl or just to grab a handful to get you over the 2pm hump. Really does taste like Froot Loops if that is what you're looking for.

Fruity cereal

It tastes as described, fruity. Love the 0g sugar, 4g carbs and 13g protein. It's a delicious and healthy way to start my day. However, Fruity is not my favorite flavor, Lemon Cake is. I need that flavor to come back!!!

Delicious

There aren't a lot of keto cereals. Magic Spoon is the best! I love the texture of the cereal. Firm and not hard. Holds up well in milk, doesn't get soggy fast. And the flavors are tops!!!! This chocolate chip cookie does compare to cookie crisp. It's my favorite thus far.
