Misleading and missing information
Extremely misleading packaging and manual. The included instructions explicitly show and detail a travel case that charges the toothbrush, but the actual case provided has no charging port at all. On top of that, Oral-B completely hides the model/series number on the actual brush (you have to hunt for a microscopic 4-digit code on the bottom), making it incredibly difficult to figure out why the advertised features are missing. In addition, in reviewing my order on this site, it seems to say I purchased a series 7 model, when the 4 digit number (3796) on the bottom of the toothbrush clearly indicates it's a model 10. I only discovered that by asking AI. Very disappointing experience for a premium product.

My previous toothbrush was the Colgate Gum Health Adult Manual Toothbrush, Ultra Soft. It was good for a long time but then my gums were getting inflamed by my dental implant. After looking at Consumer Reports I decided to buy the IO 7 along with the Gum & Sensitive toothbrush heads and let me tell you my gum inflammation went away and my teeth feel soooo clean! Each time I brush I literally feel like I just left the dentist! What a difference this toothbrush and the gum & sensitive TB heads have made! I highly recommend both of them!

This toothbrush is very difficult to use effectively because of the shape of the brush and the way it works. It is also nearly impossible to keep clean. Super disappointing especially considering the price. Do NOT recommend!

Great toothbrush terrible battery
I purchased a toothbrush two months ago and while I can’t say that it has cleaned my teeth thoroughly as well as prevented tartar around my gums. I only SJgave it three stars because the brush heads are too big for my mouth, causing me to gag as well as the battery life. If the toothbrush is not in an upright position, it never goes to sleep if it’s laying down or if you continuously open up your drawer, it will still be on.

The iO series 7 is designed with openings on the brush heads to allow water to flush through the brush head tube and let air inside. This venting ensures the brush head dries sufficiently after use and reduces moisture inside the tube. What you have described can occur if the brush is stored in a location exposed to mold and bacteria, and the plastic comes into contact with corrosive ingredients. Certain ingredients used in those types of products can make the plastic porous, allowing dirt and moisture to find places to settle. To avoid this, it's important to always rinse your brush head thoroughly after each use to prevent residue from building up and blocking the openings. Stopped charging after a year. Now it’s worthless

The average lifespan of an Oral-B electric toothbrush and its charger is approximately 3-5 years, and we're sorry to hear you brush stopped working after a year. Our products go through many quality checks, and we try our very best to make sure they reach you in perfect condition. We're disappointed that wasn't the case with this purchase. Please make sure your toothbrush has been powered off before putting it on the charger, and that you are not charging it on or near a metal surface as it can cause interference with the charger. Please try another outlet to ensure it's not the outlet. Also make sure you are using the charger with the right side up (writing on the bottom; raised circle in center on top). Target shipped a used tooyhbrush with missing parts
Gave as a gift. Missing charger and brush heads. I think it was at used item and can’t even return because it was a gift and I can’t voice a complaint as it don’t allow you to fix an issue on target !!! Junk waste of 120.00.
