    Hair rubs on 2 horses, 4 girths - Nope

    Wish it worked but 4 sizes rubbed draft and thoroughbred-X. Good concept but failed in the execution for our draft (2 sizes tried) and our thoroughbred-x (2 sizes tried). Both horses got rubs (hair and superficial skin loss) when ridden for an hour or for 2 days in a row with 4 sizes of the VenTech (English x2 and Western x2).

    My saddle fitter recommended this girth and wow what a difference!! My QH has very well spring ribs that narrows quickly at the heart girth. That caused my standard nonslip pro choice girth to slip forward and take the saddle with it. This girth keeps my saddle behind his shoulder blades where I want it, which has lead to less muscle soreness in that area overall. My new saddle hasn't even arrived yet, so I can say for sure that the difference was from this girth. It's worth a try if you have a big barreled horse with a narrower heart girth!

    I really like this girth! Definetly keeps saddle in place and not pinching. Cons get a size up as it’s elastic is tight.

    Perfect for my needs

    I switch between my dressage and jumping saddle so ive only used this girth a handful of times but my horse really seems to like it and doesn’t complain when I tighten the girth as he always has with leather girth’s. I love the shape and the color matches perfectly with my new saddle from Dover.

    I absolutely love this girth. It is perfect for my large pony that has very big/exaggerated shoulder movements. My only complaint is that I wish it came in a narrow. My girl has a very narrow chest and if the horse is narrow there is a good chance the contour of the girth will not fit properly.

    I loved this girth at first....

    I think Professional Choice products are well made and reasonably priced. I love the style behind this girth - shaped, easy to clean, easy to wash liner... however after having had this girth for 6 months the elastic is stretching out. It doesn't really look stretched out but it is easily stretched by hand and the girth doesn't move but my saddle slides and the elastic goes with the saddle. I also measured it and my 54" girth now measures 55" This wasn't a one time thing either because my even older 52" girth has done the same thing. This girth would be perfect if it had stronger elastic.

    Amazing Girth!

    This girth is awesome! I bought it for my dark brown jump saddle and it matches great! The soft neoprene lining is comfortable and breathable for my horse, as well as non slip. The girth has a nice sleek look. It creates space for him to freely move his shoulders/elbows, and he loves it.

    AMAZING Girth!!!

    This girth is awesome!! It gives my horse plenty of freedom to move his shoulders. I bought the western version after swearing by mohair cinches for so long. I love both this one and the western cinch! Couldn't say more good things about this girth

    Slightly "girthy" horse likes this girth!

    Have tried several girths, and this one is one of only two that suit my girthy mare. Bought two, one of which rubbed her to the skin until I figured out that the nylon straps holding the buckle on had a sharp edge on that side -- melted it down with a cigarette lighter and no more rubs. Marked it down a star for that. Wish the dressage model of VenTech contoured girths came a bit longer for oversized horses; we use a shorter jump girth on a draft horse's dressage saddle -- looks odd, but horse like it.
