  • A: You first want to measure your dog's neck and then a little lower where the harness is going to rest around their neck. Next, get your weight. Then compare the neck length, and dog weight with the specification listed in each size of this harness. There's a minimum and maximum neck length for each size, you want your numbers to fit in between those parameters. Hope this helps

  • A: Look at pics; guest services agents have no clue what they’re talking about. “It only holds 10 lbs.” No, that’s the XS. The description is terrible and almost misleading to customers. Look at some of the dogs in the pics. They’re larger breeds. I would measure neck, check, around the belly & contact the manufacturer directly to see if they can assist.

    Beware of sizing!!!

    Sizing was way off I literally had to cut the neck part off of my dog it went on and wouldn’t come off 🙃 please be careful!!

    So Cute and Keeps Her Safe!

    I love my puppy not so much. I have recently training my new little puppy in how to walk in a harness. It keeps her secure because she loves to tug and try to get out of her harness. I haven’t noticed any rubbing in her arms but will definitely watch for any irritation. This has been a wonderful purchase.

    I don't normally write reviews on anything but I love this harness. I have a Parson Russell Terrier/Chihuahua who is a tiny escape artist. This is the fourth harness I have tried and the only one I have has success with. The velcro makes it secure and easy to adjust and the buckle adds security. It also has a front hook to avoid pulling. Amazing and affordable!

    Pretty but difficult to adjust

    The pretty purple color is what attracted me to the harness however I’m disappointed in how difficult it was to adjust the straps. The fabric is rather bulky which made it difficult to adjust sizing and difficult for the straps to lay flat and smooth. Took some work to adjust but hopefully will work out ok.

    Great Harness

    I somehow lost a pretty expensive harness and needed a new one in a pinch, and i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this one. It’s thick and well padded. Pictured is my dog in a size medium.

    Can seriously injure your dog even when properly adjusted!

    Can seriously injure your dog! We own two of these harnesses and have loved how they look and the quality of the fabric and clips, but today we noticed our dog was walking funny and felt blood under her armpits. Sure enough she had clear, severe rubbing marks under both arms where this harness makes contact. The harness was properly adjusted with enough space for two fingers under it - it was NOT too tight. Now we're nursing our pup back to health as she heals from what is essentially severe road rash under both front legs. These two harnesses are headed to the trash can.

    The harness feels great and sturdy. I’ve gotten one in S and XS. The S is too big and the XS fits my dog great around the chest but because they didn’t give enough slack on the adjustable piece-I have to tighten the Velcro all the way for it to clip. This feels like a design error that could have been fixed just making the adjustable strap longer… The harness is quality and I like the color but I’ll have to restitch the strap to make it fit properly. My dog is 8lb for reference.

    Nice if it fits perfectly

    We have a 7lb chihuahua mix and she has been at the upper limit of the buckle since we bought it when she was maybe 4 or 5 lbs. The buckle and velcro are adjustable, but because of where the buckle is sewed on, if you loosen the velcro, you still have to tighten it all the way because the buckle portion would be fully extended. I used a seam ripper to remove the small end of the buckle then repositioned it so it could fit around our dog better. I just followed the same x with a box around it pattern as originally stitched on (with extra stitching for safety.) works better for our dog so i can loosen both a bit as she is too small for next size of harness.

    Buckles placed so they do not aggravate dogs chest, neck area. Softly padded. Hook for chain in good area. Have a dachshund that recently had some back & leg issues and this seems much friendlier for his needs. He’s always been finicky with harnesses but adapted quickly to this one.     Well made comfort harness

    This harness has held up great! It’s been our go-to harness for daily walks for well over a year now and still looks and functions like it’s brand new. It seems a bit bulky for summer time and the padding on the straps makes it a bit difficult to adjust the sizing. Also it is not escape proof! Once upon a time when i first rescued my girl, she was afraid of her own shadow and we did have one incident where she backed out of this harness. For a while i used a carabiner to connect the front ring to her martingale collar just in case and that worked great. For size reference, my girl about 50lbs and wears a size large with the straps adjusted as tight as they go

    Size large for my 55lb bully-fits perfectly

    I bought a Large for my bully, she’s 55lbs for reference. It fits her perfectly. Easy to put on and take off with “right” and “left” written on the inside so there’s no confusion which side is which. She pulls a lot when she walks and this holds her in place nicely without putting pressure on her neck. Highly recommend

    Sizing off for this color

    Well made and sturdy, but this barely fit my puppy as she got to 15 lbs. I bought the same harness in pink and it fits her fine with room to grow. Same size. The lilac is way smaller, sizing seems off. Will definitely not fit a dog 20-25 lbs.
