Plug the TV into the main slot and your ROKU and other devices will turn on and off when you turn on the TV. Saves energy. These power strips are generally available online or at big box stores.

    works well so far

    Have only had it for 2 days. It replaced a Fire Stick. So far, so good, except where the volume/mute buttons are. Who was the Einstein that decided they should go on the side of the remote where your fingers go, to hold onto the remote?? Dumb and dumber. Thankfully I have a soundbar with it's own remote for one tv but it's still annoying feeling the buttons move and hearing them click when I handle the remote with my dominant right hand. So now I use my left hand to avoid the distraction.

    Tech products either last forever or break instantly

    I love Roku but the drive broke just after a year of use. So I’m buying another in hopes I just got a bad one.

    Works great

    I thought my tv was just too old and maybe I needed to get a new one. My Roku just wasn’t working. Then I did a survey with a PBS station and because I did a survey for them they sent me a brand new Roku. Wow! It wasn’t my tv, but the other Roku was old. I’m getting a great picture & service with my new Roku.

    Works great but took a bit ot time

    It probably would be a snap of you only have the TV to worry about, With a TV and soundbar, I needed to use AI since just hooking it up caused sound problems - sometimes just delays and sometimes no sound. AI had me use the soundbar as the hub to correct the problem so that I only get periodic sound delays. It was also difficult due to clearance to hook the Roku to the soundbar. Once connected correctly, the Roku is just as advertised.
