I received this vacuum not even 2 years ago from my husband. I loved it up until today. I clean the filters often, even the canister. All of a sudden it stopped vacuuming. I was so confused as to why until I noticed the belt MELTED through the side.

Amazing vacuum!
So glad I purchased this vacuum to replace my old one, the suction is amazing! I can’t believe all the pet hair & dust it’s collected! Very easy to maneuver, and the odor neutralization keeps it smelling fresh without being overpowering. I also like how simple it is to empty the canister into the trash. I definitely recommend this vacuum!

The best we've ever had
I bought this vacuum two weeks ago.Today was the first time we used the new stratus, and I have a lift away.Which we've completely rebuilt five years ago.Under warranty, it's about ten years old and short.Did it at no charge head hoses?Everything everything, but the dirt cup and it was then a great job.It's a power lift away pit.And this new stratus, we used it just in a small area downstairs, and we got two complete containers of dirt dog hair in our house is not dirty.We have maids that come every week.We spend eight hours clean an amazing.The difference in the two vacuums I thought ours was doing a fantastic job till we put this beast to work

We purchased this Shark in the store and brought it home, only to discover it was covered in scratches, dents, and what appears to be paint? I'm not sure.

Great suction power
The suction power on this vacuum is outstanding. The vacuum would undeniably be the best on the market IF the hose was longer and it came with more attachments. As a female senior citizen, I find it somewhat heavy and difficult to maneuver when trying to reach higher areas, i.e, spiderwebs, etc.

Not happy with the replacement
This is a replacement for the same model. Still having the same issues as my other with the rubber peeling off the beater brush that gets stuff off the carpet. This is supposed to to be a pet hair vacuum and it DOES NOT get pet hair out of our rugs or off our wood floors. The suction is amazing. Just the other stuff doesn’t work. Won’t ever buy one of these again.

The best vacuum I have owned
I have always used Shark Navigator in one form or another. My most recent one was the Navigator lift away for pets ,I really likes that vacuum except for the brush rollers needing to be replaced quite often and replacing one was very difficult. I really didnt have any complaints otherwise. I decided to purchase a Shark Stratos,and I absolutely love this vacuum! The suction is great and the no hair double rollers is awesome. I have two huskies that shed alot and the Stratos can handle the job! The pet tool has great suction as well. Well done Shark! The only thing I wish it had is a light on the wand like the Navigator had. Excellent vacuum! I have tried other expensive vacuums but they could not hold up to my dogs. Very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely Detest this vacuum!
Two Month Review: it's quieter than my purple shark and has better suction BUT that's where the goodness ends. The dust cup is a whole entire realm of its own. Every Single Time it's a struggle to get it back on. I've tried left hand, right hand, angled a little high, little low, little left, little right. It's SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!! The dust cup is why I'm returning it. I don't have the patience for poorly designed bs like this! The rollers are easily clogged with dog hair so there's the constant cleaning of it. The upholstery tool was supposed to be a bonus item for me but I never used it bc the vacuum was such a huge disappointment. BRING BACK THE PURPLE MODEL with this models reduced noise and great side suction. Lastly the artificial scented plug is an environmental disaster!! No one wants that horrid rant neuro toxin in their home!!!

Never buying a Shark product again
This broke within the first month using it. The power switch won’t turn on the rollers. Still sucks but can’t get the rollers to engage. Did troubleshooting with the company website suggestions and even went into more detail since what they suggested was beyond obvious. It’s either something electrical in the handle or the base. But getting that apart was beyond frustrating. All the wires looked to be connected so I am at a loss At least I got it on sale so only $300 at the curb. They won’t respond to emails and I threw out the box. Even if I got a new one it’s unbelievably heavy and the seals are made with a flimsy foam that is already showing wear after one time of use. It’s absolute garbage.

Regretful Purchase
Perfomance great until it wasn't. After only 5 uses it will no longer turn on. Just stopped running mid vaccum. Tried different outlets and no luck. Also gave it a couple days to try again hoping it was a fluke. Still will not run. Cannot get in contact with Shark via email. I have attempted twice. My last Shark (Lift-away navigator professional) lasted 15 years and finally died and that was the reason for this purchase / upgrade. Also this vaccum is a lot more annoying to use. The buttons were in different places to open the canister and struggled with getting the canister to clip in clean like my last Shark.

Shark Stratos
Once you use a Shark vacuum you will never use anything else. We already have one but decided to get the Stratos after finding an amazing deal on it. Unbelievable suction! Not kidding, this PULLS up dirt and hairs you never knew were there! What I absolutely love about this version is the self cleaning brush roll. Saves the frustration of tangly hair on that roller. Plus this has an odor neutralizer. Super easy to maneuver. Lights up brightly. useful attachments. So powerful that old carpet is suddenly given a new life. I can even say it makes cleaning fun because you’ll have noticeable results. Highly recommend.

Not impressed with it's performance
I bought the Stratos less than a year ago. I have a multi pet home, that's why I went with this model. It worked great for about the first few months and the suction was really strong. I like the hard floor vs. carpet function as most of my home is wood floor and area rugs. Despite washing the filters and cleaning the brush roller the suction just isn't there anymore. The front roller designed for pet hair just collects in the teeth and jams up every time I use it so I have to clean that after every use and recently the tab that holds it in place broke so I have to replace it. Also, there is no self propeller which was disappointing because it's a robust unit. I don't mind paying a higher price as an investment in a good product. In my opinion this vacuum it is not worth the cost when I'm back to using a broom in less than a year.

The most incredible suction I've ever had on a vacuum
The Shark Stratos Upright is hands down the best vacuum I have ever owned. With kids running around, my carpets face a non-stop barrage of crumbs and tracked-in dirt, but this machine handles it effortlessly. The suction power is incredibly strong. You can actually feel and see the brushrolls agitating the carpet fibers to pull up deep, ground-in dirt that my old vacuum completely missed. It leaves the carpet looking plush and deeply refreshed. I also love the Odor Neutralizer feature, which keeps everything smelling clean instead of dusty while I vacuum. The incredible performance makes it 100% worth it!
