I bought this as a gift and later found out my son had already purchased it himself. I reached out to Target to see if I could get a refund, store credit, or exchange it for a different upgrade pack, but they explained that digital items aren’t refundable — even if the code was never downloaded or used. I was surprised, because something unused seems like it should be easy to return. If you’re buying this for someone else, I’d suggest choosing a Nintendo e-gift card instead so they can pick what they need.

Incredible Game, Now in 4K
Breath of the Wild really changed things for the Zelda franchise, and opened up a beautiful world full of secrets and fun for the player to explore. Now you can play this gem at a high frame rate and resolution. That said- I would not purchase this cart if you own the Switch 1 version already. You are getting the same game without the DLC, which is a real shame. Most definitive editions or upgrades come with that kind of stuff. If you own the DLC already, then yes, it 100% works with the Switch 2 version, but for $70 this should be on the cart for new players and collectors. I recommend this physical cart only if you do not own the Switch 1 cart.

For the price of 70 dollars I expected the DLC to be on the cartridge but it isn’t. Im not sure who this was made for but save your money if you already bought it on switch one and pay for the 10 dollar upgrade

Amazing visuals and smooth frame rate. Highly recommend if you have a switch 1 copy of BOTW and a switch 2 console.
