The product is a nice gel shampoo to start and foams up really nicely. My only complaint is that I wish the bottle was made out of a softer plastic, so it wasn’t so hard to squeeze, especially for people who have weakness in their hands. If stored upside down it has a tendency to leak.

Travel size doesn't travel well
Good shampoo, but the travel size completely let me down. It leakeds terribly, and although I'd wrapped it in plastice wrap, it still made a mess.

Cleanest Start and Finish

Not bad for my natural hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was sent to me in exchange for my honest review. I have thick, natural, kinky/curly hair. I noticed it took a few washes for the product to get sudsy. I didn’t feel like it stripped my natural hair at all and it was easy to finger detangle. The scent is subtle and not overbearing at all. I also used this product on extensions and it had the same effect it did on my natural hair. Didn’t feel stripped and it was easy to comb/finger detangle.

It cleaned my hair so much better than my normal shampoo and helped my hair feel healthier without stripping it. A little product goes a long way, for my thick hair that says a lot because it quickly lathers and foams up, working its magic. It rinses out quickly and easily. I am not the biggest fan of the perfume-y scent but willing to overlook it due to how effective it is!

I’ve received OUAI Detox Shampoo in exchange for my honest review. I like how gentle it is to my hair and scalp. No irritation or over-dryness, it carefully cleans my hair from styling products buildup. After Shampoo I apply OUAI mask to maximize the result. I started using it once a week and already noticed positive results. My hair feel alive and easy to style. The bottle should last me at least for 3-4 months which I think offers great value for the price.

the ouai detox shampoo was personally okay for me but I do have thin hair so I feel a lot of product doesn't build up in my hair- the shampoo did dry out my scalp a bit and left me with dandruff but it could just be a personal thing gifted by ouai
