Uses

Directions

Do not take more than directed (see overdose warning).

Adults

Take 2 caplets every 8 hours with water. Swallow whole; do not crush, chew, split or dissolve. Do not take more than 6 caplets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor.

    Manufacturer Unable to Confirm Gluten-Free Status

    I have diagnosed celiac disease and contacted Tylenol to ask whether the inactive ingredients used in the extended-release delivery system are gluten-free. The representative was unable to confirm that this formulation is gluten-free, so I was not comfortable taking it. Unfortunately, that makes this product unusable for me. I wish Tylenol would verify the gluten-free status of this formulation or clearly label it so people with celiac disease can make informed decisions.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Tylenol arthritis pain relief caplets on the advice of our pharmacist after he explained to me about the benefits of this medication.     Helps with joint pain

    These really seem to help with aching joints. I have tried other OTC for arthritis pain and this seems to work for me the best. Packaging is fine with no problems.

    Good pain relief

    This really helps manage my joint pain throughout the day. I don’t have to keep reaching for more pills every few hours, which is a big relief. It’s gentle on my stomach compared to some other pain meds and kicks in fairly quickly. The caplets are a bit large, but manageable with water.     I'm an artist and I use my hands a lot to create knitted, woven, sculpted, painted, and/or drawn items. Though I do not have arthritis, thankfully, my hands still ache sometimes. This helps on those days.

    Lifesaver

    I am allergic to aspirin, NSAIDs and codeine. The 8 hour Tylenol Arthritis works for me amazingly. Also, this was the only thing I could take when I had a fractured sacrum. This and a heating pad saved me.

    Not as Good as I thought it would be

    I bought this product recently for arthritis pain in knees. It did seem to be helping with my pain. However, I began to experience redness and itching over my entire face and eye lids. I had an appointment with my doctor for my annual physical already scheduled. She told me to stop taking Tylenol 8 HR Arthritis immediately. As soon as I stopped taking the Tylenol, the skin irritation cleared up. I've never had a reaction to regular Tylenol or anything else before. Use with caution.
